#tips: Our statistics area processes the reports in daily routines, so you are able to access data within 6 hours after viewing your media.

Information by Project

Total Views: It's the sum of number of times the users clicked the "Play" button.

Views by Period: Shows the amount of views by period. E.g: If the selected period is by "Day", it will be displayed on the graph the amount of views per minute. If the selected period is greater than 1 day, the graph will display the amount of views per hour.

Retention: It's the calculation of the average time watched for all media in a project.

Conversion: It's the calculation of all times the player was clicked after being loaded for all media in the project. NOTE: The page where the player is hosted may be loaded multiple times, but not all times the user clicks Play to watch the video content.

Complete views: Percent of times that all medias of the project were completely watched.

Views by Device: Based on final user's Operating System.

E.g:

  • Desktop - Windows, MAC, Linux
  • Mobile - iOS, Android, Windows Phone

Location: It's provided by the origin of final user's IP address.

Traffic Source: Origin from where the final user accessed the page that hosts the player.

E.g:

  • www.google.com - User accessed Google and found through a search the link where the player was hosted (www.sambatech.com.br)
  • Direct - User directly accessed the website where the player was hosted (www.sambatech.com.br)

Audience - Samba Videos collects the navigation data of all user that accessed the page where the player is hosted. These navigation data are totally anonymously analyzed, and then each user is classified using mathematical and statistical methods, based on market research, consumer behavior research, and habits of reading trends reports.

Information by Media

Total Views: It's the sum of number of times the users clicked the "Play" button.

  • User X watched the media completely - Retention 100%
  • User X watched the media completely and User Y watched half of the media - Retention 75%

Complete views: Percent of times that the specific media was completely watched.

Views by Device: Based on the final user's Operating System.

Heat Map: Shows the average percentage of access in each percentile of the specific media. NOTE: The percentage can be greater than 100%, what means that multiple users returned to watch specific segments of the media during the same view.
